  • This depends on the service. We recommend anywhere from 45 minutes for cuts/styling and up to 2-3 hours for colour and keratin services.

Haircuts & Hairstyling

 

  • Collectively, we have over 45 years of experience in cutting and styling. Our staff stay at the forefront of new trends in hair and undertake frequent, extensive training to ensure our techniques remain modern and reflective of current styles.

  • During your consultation, our stylists will address previous hair history, what your hair goals are, salon haircare we recommend to reach your goals and your budget.

  • We recommend washing your hair before arriving at the salon for a haircut.

  • During your personalised consultation, our stylist will provide recommendations on maintaining your new cut or style as well as recommending salon-grade hair care to preserve the health of your hair.

Colour

 

  • Collectively, we have over 45 years of experience in colouring. Our staff stay at the forefront of new trends in colour and undertake frequent, extensive training to ensure our colour techniques remain modern and effective.

  • Absolutely! Photos help us visualise what you’re after and obtain the right tones for your hair goals.

  • The colourist will address your previous colour history, what we’ll be doing today to achieve your desired colour, and salon-grade hair care recommendations to care for your new colour and your budget.

  • An excellent question! Yes, on select services you should wash your hair for example, if we’re covering grays.

    However, for bleaching, we suggest you don’t.

  • We offer foils, highlights, root touch-ups, balayage, scalp bleach and colour correction.

  • It depends on the service you’ve booked in for however a good rule of thumb is to allow 2 to 3 hours.

  • Our prices range from $200 to $500. During your consultation, your colourist will provide a personalised price.

  • We recommend all of our colour clients use K18 as it’s full to the brim with amazing peptides that restore your hair back to 70% virgin. Leaving your hair soft, shiny, smooth and bouncy.

    Depending on the service provided and the tone, we will recommend salon-grade hair care to counteract brassiness and maintain vibrancy in your new colour.

  • Great question! You maintain your hair colour using salon-grade shampoo and conditioner.

    We also recommend K18 which assists in keeping your hair in good condition.

    Additionally, we’d recommend a heat protectant that helps stop your colour from fading and protects your hair when you’re styling.

  • Colouring your hair can cause hair damage.

    Practising hair-friendly techniques like limiting heat styling and conditioning the hair can help minimise damage where possible.

    We recommend using salon-grade shampoo and conditioner as well as reducing the frequency in which you wash your hair to minimise the damage.

    Proper colour aftercare is essential to ensure longevity in your colour vibrancy and reduce hair damage.

  • To achieve your desired colour, we use O&M.

 

Keratin Smoothing Treatment

 

  • Great question, a keratin smoothing treatment helps maintain your hair, it helps smooth your hair, particularly if it’s frizzy and it cuts down the time it takes to do your hair at home!

  • This comes up quite frequently. When performed properly, a keratin smoothing treatment won’t damage your hair. In fact, a keratin smoothing treatment can be nourishing to your hair.

  • Typically, treatments last anywhere from 3 to 5 months depending upon the way you treat your keratin post-treatment. It’s imperative you use the right salon-grade shampoo and conditioner to maintain your results.

  • It usually takes 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours depending upon the length and thickness of your hair.

  • Our prices start from $150 to $250 depending upon the thickness and length of your hair.

  • Not a lot!

    Unless you’re having a lightening service which in that case we recommend you do that first as it can take a bit of keratin out.

  • We recommend you use salon-grade shampoo and conditioner called Novak to prolong the longevity of your keratin treatment.

    We also recommend that you don’t wash your hair for 72 hours and that you do not tie your hair up until your first shampoo and conditioning.

  • We use Novak. It’s organic and it’s also vegan!

  • Great question! We always recommend coming into the salon for a consultation with our keratin specialists.

    Most people are suitable however we don’t recommend keratin for clients with fine, thin texture, straight or overly processed hair.
